As one of the early pioneers in disease management in the United States, I am proud to have witnessed and helped develop this new healthcare sector that promises to address both the rapidly growing economic burden of chronic disease and to help improve the quality of life and productivity of our chronically ill citizens. I have also observed the growth of DM around the world.

The IDMA was created to help bring together this global collective experience and resources to more aggressively promote healthy lifestyles and to improve how we manage chronic disease.

By sharing and aggregating our unique DM and health management experience we will be better able to address the chronic disease crisis that is threatening our economies and the well-being of our global neighbors.
