About the IDMA DM World e-Report - IDMA publishes the DM World e-Report on a weekly basis, excluding a few major holidays. The editor, Sandra Paton reviews hundreds of healthcare and government websites every week to glean those reports, articles, press releases, and personnel news that are relevant to disease management and health promotion. Each news item and/or report is linked to the original article.

Distribution - Thanks to the generosity of DM World e-Report advertisers and sponsors the e-Report is distributed direct to over 10,000 DM stakeholders [indirectly to tens of thousands of healthcare leaders] in more than 80 countries including all 50 states in the United States as part of the IDMA mission to facilitate the exchange of information on disease/health management around the world

Topics - The weekly DM World e-Report is broken down into a number of sections for the convenience of the reader. These sections include:

1. Week's Feature Story - A summary and link to the week's featured story is the first section of the e-Report.
2. Of Major Interest - Provide quick access to what the editor views as the most significant news articles for the week. Clicking on these links will bring the reader immediately to the original document.
3. Industry News - This section is typically the most "active" section and contains a broad range of DM industry news.
4. Studies/Reports - A popular section, IDMA research the leading available reports on DM related topics. For IDMA members these reports are then archived in the DM Reports Archive for future review.
5. Clinical News - The DM industry must keep up with the latest evidenced-based medicine in order to best serve the chronically ill patient. The Clinical News section provides updates on the latest development in medicine.
6. Policy - Many countries around the world are focused on major health system and policy reform. The Policy Section is designed to aggregate information related to health policy issues/news that potentially impacts on the DM and health management industries.
7. Technology - We are told that in the next 10 years we will witness more technology changes that experienced in the past hundreds of years. Keeping up with those technology changes that impact the DM industry warrants a separate section in the e-Report.
8. Wellness - Large employers and government agencies are looking to combine disease management with disease prevention/wellness. This section reports on wellness/prevention news from around the globe.
9. People/Events - As the industry continues to expand exponentially, this section alerts readers to new positions that are available as well as keeping up with career changes with our colleagues.
